Registration for the Meetings/Events Best Practice Forum is Now Open!

Are you an in-house, corporate meetings/events planner?
Are you an independent meetings/events planner?
Are you a supplier for the local meetings/events industry?
Have you recently acquired the responsibility of planning your company's meetings/events?

If you answered 'YES' to any of these questions - you must join us on May 28th for the Meetings/Events Best Practice Forum.

Times are tough for all industries, but the meetings/events/hospitality industry is really feeling the pinch. Join the Phoenix Business Journal and the Phoenix Convention Center, along with ISES, MPI and HSMAI as we discuss how MEETINGS & EVENTS MEAN LOCAL BUSINESS!

This half-day event is designed for planners and suppliers of all experience levels. Featured topics include event ROI, the importance of keeping meetings/events LOCAL, ethical negotiations, and meeting & event trends in this economic climate.

Recognizing that we all have very different objectives for a day like this, there will also be role-specific sessions available for suppliers, planners and those new to the industry.

Basic Schedule Outline:
11:00 a.m. Registration begins
11:30 a.m. Luncheon and main session
1:30-4:30 p.m. Breakout sessions (sign-up to occur at day-of registration)
4:30-6:00 p.m. Networking/cocktail reception and optional facility tours including the brand new Innovation Studio

Tickets: Only $59 Price includes luncheon/main program, 3 breakout sessions, cocktails/hors d'oeuvres networking reception, and optional facility tours.

Free parking available courtesy of the Phoenix Convention Center.

To address the pinch being felt by hotels, meeting spaces and the overall industry in the Valley, the Phoenix Business Journal is launching its first ever supplement to highlight the meeting venues and vendors available in the Valley.

For more information about advertising in this supplement, please contact Catherine Weathers at 602-308-6532 or cweathers@bizjournals.com.

If you have any event related questions, please contact Rebecca Light with the Phoenix Business Journal at (602) 308-6531
